Automatically adjusts the charging process according to the condition of the battery. Once fully charged, the charger switches to storage mode and continuously monitors and maintains the battery at full charge. - 6-Stage Charging, Conditioning & Maintenance
Qualification Phase: The charger first checks that the battery is in suitable condition before normal charging begins. As a safety measure, the charging process will not start if the battery voltage is below 2V.
Soft Start Phase: When a battery is detected at a very low state of charge, the charger gradually delivers voltage and current to help the battery recover before entering the bulk charging phase.
Bulk Charge Phase: The charger supplies a constant charging current, bringing the battery up to approximately 80% of its full capacity.
Adaptive Phase: The charger automatically estimates the battery capacity and adjusts the charging current to help prevent overcharging, particularly when charging smaller-capacity batteries.
Absorption Phase: The charger maintains a constant voltage while gradually reducing the charging current according to the battery’s condition until the battery reaches 100% charge.
Maintenance Phase: Once fully charged, the battery can remain safely connected to the charger. The charger continuously monitors the battery and automatically resumes charging when required to maintain the battery at full charge.

How do I connect the charger to the battery
Connect the red positive (+) lead to the positive terminal of the battery. Connect the black negative (-) lead to the negative terminal of the battery.
Plug the charger into a suitable wall socket and switch on the AC power.
Press the MODE button until the LCD displays “STD” for Standard Battery Mode, suitable for GEL, VRLA and SLA batteries.
Once the correct mode has been selected and the charger is properly connected, the charging process will begin automatically

How long will it take to charge the battery
Suppose you have a 100AH (AMP HOURS) battery. Now let’s say you have this 10A charger that will deliver 10A current to the battery. You can make a calculated guess by just dividing two numbers.
Example: (100AMP HOURS) DIVIDED BY (10AMP) = 10 HOURS

No indicator lights are showing on the charger, what do I do?
A. Disconnect the charger from the AC outlet.
B. Check connections to battery and ensure they are good.
C. Check to ensure that there is power at the AC outlet by plugging in a lamp or power meter.
